The Black Diamond Screen is exceptional. After trying two other
screens that were reflecting too much light for my room Saber
installed the Black Diamond Screen. The reflected light disappeared
and the screen image with the Epson Projector looks like a plasma
display. Blu-Ray images are beautiful and even with the lights on
the images are outstanding. Truly the right – and only choice – for my new media room.

Hello Blake,
The projected image quality was pretty spectacular in the suite, despite the sunlight streaming in and the room lighting being on, every visitor was impressed by the projection system.
Many thanks for your help with this project, I knew we were onto a winner!

Black Diamond Screen is up and looking great.
Black Diamond 1.4 screen is up and looking great. The Epson 9500/Black Diamond combo is really nice. I am especially happy that the off-axis viewing is so good for a high gain screen.
Thanks again for all your help.

This is the best screen I have ever seen in my life – especially with light in the room !
This is the best screen I have ever seen in my life – especially with light in the room !
The resolution and fidelity are amazing.
The best black levels I have seen and really rich saturated colours.
At least now I have a picture like a plasma but at over 100″ !
With a sharp 1080P movie or sports the picture has a 3D depth and feel to it !

Screen is incredible!!!
Screen is incredible!!!
Love it, love it, love it!
I was worried about those black bars on the sides of the screen when watching 16:9 material…however, you really don’t even notice them…and if the lights are out…forget about it…you just can’t see them.
For wide-screen movies, the contrast and blacks are just unbelievable with Blu-Ray source material. I actually have some pretty bright pendant lights on the bar (to right of screen) and when I have them on full blast, they do cast just a little light onto the screen, but not enough to obscure the picture. It’s obviously better if they’re off, but even with them on, the screen is perfectly watchable. Also, I might add that I have a 50″ Pioneer plasma upstairs, and when the windows are open in the living room, you can see their reflection on the display. SO, you just can’t get it perfect…and I might also add that the small amounts of light being cast on the 119″ BD 1.4 from my bar lights are less noticeable than the window reflections on my Pioneer plasma!
I’ll send you some pics soon…it’s just amazing…family and friends are absolutely stunned.
And thanks for getting the screen to me so quickly. You rock!

Projector Screen Company
Screen Innovations is More Than Your Average Projector Screen Company
Screen Innovations isn’t just a projector screen manufacturer. We’re also an innovator in the projector screen market, developing the latest in screen technology for the best home or business viewing available. Our newest innovation is the Black Diamond. This revolutionary screen material doesn’t just reflect light. It also absorbs it. Light coming directly at the screen from the front (the light from the projector) is reflected while ambient light, or light from other sources, is absorbed.
This reduces the glare coming off the screen, keeping the room darker than a standard white or gray screen, which keeps your image sharp and clear. It also allows you to use the screen in less than ideal light conditions, including outdoors or in rooms with multiple windows. As long as the light is coming from the side or rear of the screen, it won’t affect your viewing experience. You’ll get an image comparable to an HD television, something impossible with other projector screens in these light conditions.
Our Reference series of fixed screens are available with the Black Diamond screen technology and are a great choice for serious home theatres and businesses that may have imperfect light conditions.
We also make screens in standard matte white and gray materials in fixed, motorized, and manual installations. Our wide variety of materials, as well as our custom sizing options, allow you to get the perfect screen for your particular needs, whether its home use, business presentations, or entertainment for your customers.

Projector Screen
Deciding Which Projector Screen Is Right For You
Your first consideration should be what the screen will be used for. If you need a screen for occasional classroom or business use, or if you like the idea of setting up a screen in the backyard for a special movie night, then a Sensation manual pull-down or pull-up screen is probably your best choice. These screens are available in widescreen (16:9) and standard (4:3) aspect ratios in a variety of sizes. They are extremely portable and can be set up by a single person in a matter of seconds.
If you want a more permanent installation, but don’t have a room dedicated to viewing or presentations, you may want to consider a Reference or Performance series motorized screen. These screens can be either externally or flush mounted and modified with decorator plates to better blend with your existing décor. They can be easily extended or retracted as the room’s current purpose dictates. These screens are available with several options, including screen color, size, aspect ratio, and voltage.
Serious home theatre builders or businesses with dedicated viewing areas will want to consider a fixed screen in the Reference, Performance, or Sensation series. With a fixed screen, your options increase dramatically. Not only are there multiple widescreen format options, screen material options, and sizes, they can also be flat or curved for the best viewing angles for your room.
More Tools to Help You Choose a Projector Screen
We offer three tools to help you determine which screen is best for your projector, where it should be placed, and how much a custom screen made to your specifications would cost. Projection Screens
Projection Screens For Any Budget
There are several factors to consider when choosing the right screen for your particular needs, but perhaps the most pressing for most people is cost. Screen Innovations offers three different series of screens with a full range of options, ensuring that you can find a screen that fits your needs and your budget.
If you’re looking for an entry-level screen that will offer good performance in standard sizes, the Sensation series is probably your best bet. The Sensation series includes both portable pull-up and pull-down screens that are great for temporary use and fixed screens that focus on basic quality and affordability. Your options are more limited, but you’ll get a good picture at a great price.
If you’re looking for a more mid-range alternative, the Performance line of fixed and motorized screens offers high-end picture quality at a competitive price. The Performance line offers more options than the Sensation line, including two screen materials (Gamma HD and Lunar Gray HD) as well as three widescreen ratios, in addition to standard 4:3. Motorized screens come equipped with IR receiver and are designed to be installed easily.
Reference Series Projection Screens Are the Best of the Best
The Reference series of fixed or motorized screens are the top-of-the-line option for those looking for optimum quality and customization. Fixed Reference screens are fully customizable, from the choice of the full range of our screen materials, including Black Diamond, sizes in increments of one inch from 70 inches to over 200 inches, and front or rear projection. With our Reference motorized, you can choose high or low voltage and customize the size of the black drop. With the fixed screens, you can choose between flat and curved. You can even customize the radius of the curve to fit your exact specifications.
