Catering to the Needs and Requests of its Customers, SI’s New “EZ-snap” Frames Install in Minutes as Well as Provide an Option to Curve the Frame

Austin, Texas, Dec. 2, 2008 – SI (www.siscreens.com) is proud to announce that its new Reference and Performance Series “EZ-snap” projector screen frame system is now shipping.

“The ‘EZ-snap’ system was very well received by customers and the media alike when launched at the recent CEDIA Expo,” explained Ryan Gustafson, SI V.P. of business development. “Our customers love our new projector screens, but ‘EZ-snap’ represents the next evolution in creating the ultimate home theater experience. We pride ourselves on listening to our customers, and when they inquired for an enhanced and quicker way of installing our screens, we answered the call with SI’s new Reference and Performance ‘EZ-snap’ frames.”

The sliding attachment points are the next generation standard for high-end fixed projector screen frames and material tensioning systems because the system eliminates the errors that fixed snap points create. EZ-Snap is the only universal system on the market, thus allowing our customers to upgrade to SI’s new Black Diamond or Weave screen materials in the future. “This gives our customers the best piece of mind when purchasing SI Screen products,” added Gustafson.

The new “EZ-snap” system installs in minutes and, when compared to all other snap systems, maintains improved uniformity of perimeter tension. This dramatically reduces tension points that eventually create screen sag over time. “EZ-snap” has even retained the benefits of SI’s existing T-Line attachment system, but provides a much quicker installation.
