Find the Best Fixed Projection Screen for Your Home Theater

A fixed projection screen is an excellent choice for your home theater, especially if it is located in a den or family room. At Screen Innovations, we offer three series of fixed projector screens: Sensation, Performance and Reference.

The Sensation screen offer excellent value. It comes in widescreen 16:9 aspect ratio and in a range of sizes from 80” to 119”. The 2.5” aluminum frame is wrapped in black velvet for ambient light absorption, and Matte White 1.0 screen material is standard.

The Performance series offers you more options. You can choose among four aspect ratios and screen sizes from 77” to 133”. Custom sizes are also available. You can also choose between Gamma 1.1 HD and Lunar Gray .85 HD screen material; your best choice depends on your ambient light, with Lunar Gray preferable for darker environments and Gamma preferable for areas with more ambient light.

The Reference Series Offers Black Diamond Screen Material on the Fixed Projection Screen

There are many reasons why the Reference series screens are considered the epitome of your fixed projection screen options. You can customize the appearance of the frame with four hardwoods and ten colored velvet choices. Custom screen sizes are available from 77” to 205” or larger. There are five formats of aspect ratio to choose from, and even curved screens and rear projection.

Perhaps the most exciting difference, though, is that you have the choice of seven screen materials, including the state-of-the-art Black Diamond. Black Diamond screen technology reduces as much as 75 percent of light scatter and increases contrast by more than 300 percent, allowing you to view a crisp, color-saturated image even with the lights on!
