Which Is the Best Home Theater Screen for You?

Choosing your home theater screen can be a bit intimidating, with all the options there are to choose from. At Screen Innovations, we’re here to help you make sense of the rather dizzying array of screens we offer, so you can find the one that best suits your budget, your technical requirements and your system.

Choose a Reference Series Home Theater Screen

You’ve already realized a very significant savings by choosing a projection system for your home theater over a comparable TV system. Therefore, it makes sense to select a top-quality screen from our Reference series, in order to realize the full potential of your projector. Reference screens are available in both motorized and fixed options, in a great array of ratios, sizes and screen materials, including the state-of-the-art Black Diamond, which can increase contrast more than 300 percent for the sharpest, most color-saturated image, even in bright well lit room. Reference series screens can also be customized in any number of ways—and we have the quickest turnaround time for custom orders in the industry.

A Midrange Home Theater Screen Offers High Definition

Our Performance series also comes in both fixed and motorized versions, all with quality HD screen material. (The standard Matte White 1.0 screen in our budget Sensation series is fine for commercial uses, but there’s no point in using anything but a high def screen in your home theater.) Performance screens come in a wide range of sizes and aspect ratios, and our patented installation systems make setup easy.

Decide first whether you want a fixed or retractable screen. Then choose a screen ratio, usually 16:9 for home theaters. Then go to our Screen Wizard. Enter the ratio and the lighting conditions, and whatever information you have about the projector and screen size. The Wizard will show you a color-coded chart that will help you select the best screen material for your circumstances. It’s that simple.

Of course, we’re always here to help, too. If you have any questions, feel free to call 512-832-6939, send an email to sales@screeninnovations.com or use our convenient online contact form.
