Video Projector Screen
Black Diamond Video Projector Screen Material Gives You the Theater Experience at Home
When you watch a movie in a theater, you’ll notice that the room becomes very dark. Part of this is that the obvious ambient lighting is turned off. The less obvious source of ambient light, though, is that light from the projector that is bounced off the screen and, in turn, reflected off the ceiling and walls of the room. All that light reflection makes the whole room brighter and can dull your image. Movie theaters have carpeted walls in dark colors to avoid this type of reflection. Most home users, though, don’t have the luxury of being able to carpet their walls and ceiling, or paint them in dark colors.
That’s why the Black Diamond is such a great choice for home theaters. You don’t have to change the wall color or add non-reflective covering to your living room or movie viewing space to avoid the ambient light created by your projector. The Black Diamond screen is designed to absorb ambient light, not reflect it around the room. This keeps the room dark and prevents the light from ruining the viewing image. Lowering the Black Diamond screen into place over a standard white or gray screen, you instantly see the difference in light levels.
