It has been some time since my opinion relating to the consumer electronics market has been favorable.

As you know, I as well as thousands of my fellow consumer Videophiles have suffered greatly as a result of what appears to be perpetual product obsolescence.

Electronic manufacturers have been “busy little bees” in their attempts to re-invent their market every 6 months with nary a thought to providing an upgrade path for the loyal masses.

Well this is to inform you that there is a bright light shinning in Austin Texas at Screen Innovations Headquarters.

I cannot thank you enough for your persistence in guiding me (kicking and screaming) toward the new Black Diamond 1.4 screen.

I am completely amazed at what value this simple addition, to my current system, has added.

In my opinion, this screen has literally helped my projector (Dwin TV3) leap forward an entire DLP chip generation and possibly beyond.

Color accuracy and shadow detail is simply stunning. I can’t wait to try it with the Runco VX1000ci collecting dust in the corner …

Out with the old Stewart Studio Tech 130 and in with Black Diamond! Wow!
