    Screen Material Cleaning

  • How do I clean my screen material?

      Solution:
    • Fiberglass (Maestro White/Grey): Remove dust with soft bristled attachment on a vacuum cleaner or compressed air. Clean with a Microfiber cloth dipped in soapy water using a few drops of “Dawn.” You can clean small stains by rubbing the fabric very gently with a clean white pencil eraser.

    • PVC (Slate, Pure, 360, Backstage): Use caution, do not rub the material aggressively. Clean with a microfiber cloth towel and distilled water. You can mix a solution of 1oz Simple Green to 20 oz of water and lightly rub the surface until the soap is removed. You can also use a microfiber cloth towel and a mixture of 95% water/5% Dawn.

    • Black Diamond: The preferred method is with “Whoosh” screen cleaner, sold by Tech Hygiene, and a microfiber towel.

    • Acrylic (FlexGlass): Use a mixture of 90% water/10% Windex and a microfiber towel. Or, 95% lukewarm water/5% Dawn
