The appointment is part of the company’s aggressive growth strategy in both the Residential and Commercial markets, and is in addition to the recent appointment of industry veteran Howard Borsa as Director of Commercial Accounts and several new products to its lineup.
Bennett, who brings over 20 years of industry-specific experience to the SI team, has an extensive background in merchandising, marketing and media relations, as well as management of independent sales representatives, distributors, and manufacturer partners. While she has been serving as SI’s publicist since January 2012 through her independent PR firm, KMB Communications, Katye will now be an extension of the team, and responsible for all aspects of SI’s marketing and communications.
