Side Channel Features:
To seal light from streaming into a room, side channels act as a barrier along the sides of the window, providing additional light blocking and privacy. Side channels may be used on shade models mounted surface, between window jambs, or pocketed, as long as there is ample structure for mounting the channels.

Sill Channel Features:
To achieve better blackout results from your shade, pair side channels with a sill channel, which provides further light blocking and privacy along the bottom of the window. The 2 inch lip mounts to the window sill where the shade meets the sill, and can diminish an uneven reveal when the sill is out of level.

Side and sill channels are available in any of SI’s standard Nano powder coat colors.
