Overview:
TRO.Y 2 is an IP control gateway that integrates shades and screens via PoE and RS232. It supports advanced control for multiple motor types (485, RTS, Zigbee) and is compatible with wireless bridges including LinkProZ, Helen, and TaHoma Switch.
Initial Considerations #
TRO.Y 2 is designed for indoor installation (Rack or Din Rail mounted).
Ensure proximity to Janus units within 300 feet.
Use four 485 ports to segment and improve 485 bus performance.
Best practice: Divide shades into four segments to reduce latency and improve performance.
Example: 32 shades with four Janus units (eight shades per port).
Important: Do not exceed 48V on PoE.
