Step 1: Spacer Blocks and Leveling Shims #
For Wall Mount ONLY:
Install 4 Spacer Blocks per bracket, to accommodate for external battery.
For Ceiling Mount ONLY:
Install shade brackets at least 1″ from back plane (glass or wall) to accommodate for external battery.
Spacer Blocks
Used to clear an obstruction in the fabric path.
Connect spacer blocks to shade brackets before installation.
Do not use more than 4 Spacer blocks per bracket.
Leveling Shims
Used if the window frame is out of level.
Connect to shade brackets before installation.
Do not use more than 2 leveling shims per bracket.
Step 2: Bracket Installation #
Wall Mount
Install the wall bracket / end cap assemblies with the supplied screws.
Ceiling Mount
Install the wall bracket / end cap assemblies with the supplied screws.
Measure outside of the bracket to the outside of the bracket width and verify it matches the width the shade was ordered.
Adjust accordingly
Brackets must be level before the shade is installed.
Step 3a: Battery Installation – WALL MOUNT #
Install the external battery brackets to the dimensions listed below.
Fasten each bracket with the included hardware (use drywall anchors if necessary).
Connect the magnet wire to the external battery and install into the brackets as shown below.
Step 3b: Battery Installation – CEILING MOUNT #
Install the external battery brackets to the dimensions listed below.
Fasten each bracket with the included hardware (use drywall anchors if necessary).
Connect the magnet wire to the external battery and install into the brackets as shown below.
Install wire clips as shown (optional).
Step 4: Installing the Roll #
Remove the idler end cap with flat bladed screw driver.
Insert motor side completely.
When installing, the shade should be at the upper limit.
Then, while supporting motor side, put idler end cap over the idler and snap into place.
There will be an audible “Click”
Step 5a: Connecting the Battery – WALL MOUNT #
Connect Shade to External Battery as shown below.
After connecting shade to battery, tuck wires up and away from shade.
Step 5b: Connecting the Battery – CEILING MOUNT #
Connect Shade to External Battery as shown below.
After connecting shade to battery, tuck wires up and away from shade.
